America rating downgrade has suddenly spurted up the interest in rating of their own country. There are  three major credit rating agencies: Standard & Poor’s, Fitch and Moody’s.  India is graded as BBB- Stable by S&P & Fitch rating agency whereas Moody has given a rating of baa3. America downgrade will certainly benefit other countires as investors will look to invest in countries which has stable ratings.
