Hi Nilesh,

www.stockssavvy.comThere are strict rules which one needs to follow if he is intraday/short term trader otherwise returns will be satisfactory. It is common saying that out of 1000 people, there is only 1 successful trader who actually follow the rules. It is the greed for lil more which takes the profits of intraday/Short term players.

Coming back to your query, i will like to more what kind of stocks you hold & at what price & if there are any changes which needs to be required. 2 of the most valued principle of investing are the Kind of stock one is in & at what price he is in.

Right now, i feel market is providing an excellent opportunity to get in as some of the stocks have come to quite attractive valuations. One of them is Reliance industries. Stock has been underperforming the indices from last 2 years. Management is leaving no stone unturned. The only lag is from the Govt side who has taken like zillion of years to approve the Reliance-BP deal. The deal will go through in next few months. Management is on the right track & Company has the biggest weightage in Sensex & Nifty. Management enstills the confidence for the investment & the profiitability of the company is more than 20% per year. Stock should give excellent returns in the next 5 years if you are ready to hold the stock.

Also, One should not invest all the money in one go. If you want to go for a diversify your risk & want to hold more in Index stock , then Mutual Fund such as HDFC Top 200 should be your best bet.

Feel free to write back if you have any queries.
