November 2, 2011   ·   0 Comments

If you think 3G is way to go in the coming years, think again.  Technology is changing at breath taking speed, People have still to get accustomed to 3G, When Mukesh Ambani is all set to roll out India’s first 4G services in December, 2011. The commercial launch will happen in the first quarter of 2012 by Reliance Industries at an affordable rate of Rs 3000 per month

www.stockssavvy.comOnly China has active 4G services in the world. Getting 4G services started in India before it has been launched in America & European countries is really commendable.  Government wants to make India a hub for investment for Telecommunication devices in coming future, This move will truly shape the way ahead for India.

4G will boost of 10 Mbps speed whereas 3G network are extended to 4 Mbps speed only. This means one can expect download speed of 1-1.5 Mbps per second meaning a 700 MB movie can be downloaded in less than 10 minutes. With the backward compatibility of both GSM and CDMA this service will impress its users with the real speed of 10 Mbps.

Not only 4G will prove a game changer for India, but also it will open a big opportunity for Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries.  Mukesh Ambani was trying to India’s telecommunication market for Bradband services from the last 3 years. There is speculation that one can see an IPO also in near future if things goes well for penetration of 4G services to the roots of India. This is another diversification which Investor will like for Reliance Industries & market shall give a bg thumbs up to this move.

Mukesh Ambani has always been famous for getting the services to the masses. When Reliance entered Telecommunication, it revolutionized Telecommunication market by bringing handset of 500 Rs. making it affordable for a common man of India. Though, after the split between 2 brothers Anil Ambani got the Reliance communication in his pocket.

Can Mukesh Ambani do it again by taking 4G to the masses? Most of the companies have failed to get people on 3G because of high service charges.  By bringing 4G services ahead of Airtel & others, Mukesh has already won the half battle by being way ahead of its competitors. It will be interesting to see whether he can impress the customers i.e. mass of India.
